STX's revolutionary throat plug (patent pending) allows the player to get closer to the ball. In order to shorten the throat dimensions of the head, STX manufactured the THROAT PLUG to go down inside the shaft and suppress the inner walls to maintain stability. Due to this feature, the Duel II will only fit on hollow shafts.
Four screw ports give increased stability while firmly anchoring the head onto the shaft.
